Migration from udb v7.x to db2 v9: a stupid simple question

Hi, List.
My company has a VERY BIG product base on db2 udb v7.x.
We want to di an upgrade to v9, but.... current db has a lot of
procedure (cobol..!).
Therefore, we've planned to rewrite this code in sql or other language.
My (stupid, i think..) question is:

someone know a "thing" (wizard, tool, application..) helpful to reduce
needed work to convert/transform cobol code?
For example, a tool that dows a reverse enigineering of compiled cobol
procedure procedure useful for some tranlsation, conversion and so on?

TIA

Not quite an answer to your question, but you do know that v9 does not
support migration from v7, right? You will need to upgrade to v8 before
you can go to v9.

As to the subject, my suspicion is that the question may be simple, but the
answer won't be (unless the answer is "no" ;->)

I don't have an answer either. However, I wouldn't do the change this way
at all. First do the migration to V9 (via V8), then change the code.
Otherwise, you can quickly have a lot of trouble with too many variables
changing at the same time.

Thanks for your answer.
But, someone says me that v8 and v9 doesn't support cobolo stored procedure.
It's true or not?
If isn't, I do upgrade YESTERDAY.

It's not true.

Search for LANGUAGE COBOL in the syntax diagram.
