DB2 V8.2 Data Import

P: n/a
Hi Guys

I am trying to run an import for one of my tabled from a text file. The
thing is, everytime there is a new line, for example the user put a new
line in a memo field, the text document starts a new line and the
import for DB2 thinks it is a new record...

SQL3120W The field value in row "23314" and column "1" cannot be
converted to
an INTEGER value, but the target column is not nullable. The row was
not
loaded.

It is a DEL file and I have tried to say preserve leading and trailing
banks...

Is there any way to tell DB2 to ignore the 'enter' character???

Thanks

Ian

You can use the 'modified by delprioritychar' option (docs at
http://tinyurl.com/p5j2s ) to get what you need.
