Install Application Development Client for DB2 V7 in AIX 4.3

P: n/a
I am trying to create stored procedures but I get an error

[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/6000] SQL10013N The specified library "db2udp"
could not be loaded. SQLSTATE=42724

1. How would I find out the type of the client installed in AIX ?

2. I presumed that I need Application Development Client and downloaded
it. How do I install ? If I run db2setup will it wipe out the existing
instances. It has instances configured.

Any help is appreciated.

Any particular reason you're using an out-of-support database on an
out-of-support operating system? I highly recommend upgrading both of
these. (Partly because your issue may already be resolved with v8 or v9.)

With great difficulty. (This was fixed in v8.) Mostly, however, you only
really care about how to get the functionality you need.

What gives you the impression that db2setup will wipe out any instances?
Any help is appreciated.
