DB2 v9.1 jdbc xml sample

P: n/a
Chaps,

I'm trying to get the Simple_XmlProc jdbc xml sample to work. Has
anyone managedf to run it?

The sample is located in Program
files/IBM//SQLLIB/samples/xml/java/jdbc

I'm running
db2 V9.1 WSE for windoze
Compiling and running it from the command line using the provided
spcat_xml.bat file

When I try running "java Simple_XmlProc_Client" I get an error which
states:-

SQL20203N User defined function or procedure "<function-name>" has a
Java method with an invalid signature.

Explanation: The signature of the java method used to implement the
function or procedure was invalid. For example, the method may have
parameters that are not mappable to the parameters on the corresponding
create statement or the method for a procedure may specify a return
value.

User Response: Reissue the corresponding CREATE statement specifying
parameters that match the Java method, or correct the parameters or
return type of the Java method and rebuild the class.

sqlcode: -20203

sqlstate: 46007

One of my own stored procedures written in the Development Workbench
generates the same error.

Any help apreciated
Alex
