about interrupt port and firewall

P: n/a
HI,

I need to help user to setup connection to DB2 server through firewall,

I know on firewall , we must open TCP port ( db2 svcename ), but I'm
not sure if I also need to open interrupt port, which is TCP port +1 .
in /etc/services file, the two prota is always come together like
following:

db2c_DB2 5000/tcp
db2i_DB2 5001/tcp
Not sure what's this interrupt port used for during the connection.

Your suggestion is very appreciated.

Thanks.
