How to start the DAS in Linux

Hi Group,

I did the DB2 ESE edition installation in Suse Linux using GUI wizard,
the installation was perfect, able to successfully launch the control
center. When tried to set up communication from my local machine to
server. Some problem with DAS occurs. When I login as dasusr1 and tried
starting DAS by using command db2admin start, it gives me error that
dasusr1 is not authorized to run this.

So in control center when I try instance --set up communications,
it's throwing error that DB2 administration server communication error.

So is this problem with Network, how should I make the DAS to run again
in Linux, else if drop and create DAS will it solve my problem with
DAS, if yes pls tell me how to remove the DAS and recreate it..

In one site I read that rebooing my Linux machine will start the DAS
again..will it work?

Have your system administrator make dasusr1 a member of the default
group for the instance owner of your database instance. This will give
the dasusr1 userid authority to start and stop the administration server.

Go to the online information center and do a search on "dasadm_group"
for additional information about who can control the administration server.
