Hello,
We've got a nice running instance at 8.1FP7 (8.2), everything has been
running very well on it. This morning,certain users get the following
message
08001-[IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30082N Attempt to establish
connection failed with security reason "36" ("CLIENT SECURITY PLUGIN
ERROR"). SQLSTATE=08001
Only thing that changed for these users is thier UID:GID number. We
changed them back,restarted db2, application server,and still the
application spits this error. We are not using any custom db2 client
security plug, just the default. Any ideas what to check? I have a
feeling the app itself decided to hang onto something it's really
shouldn't, but I'm wondering if there's anything db2 side I can look at
or check to see what it's complaining about. OS is AIX5.3ml04

I should perhaps mention, db2 connect from shell/command line under
these users works just fine. Server instance is using DB2 client
