migration db2

I have to migrate db2 v5 to db2 udb v8. Could someone tell me if it's possible or I'll have some problems?

I don't believe you can migrate directly - you might need to migrate to version 6, and 7 first.

I would suggest rebuilding the entire database on V8, exporting the data to files from V5, and then importing the data from files into the V8 database.
