I cannot connect to the instance fo db2, on the database there are 4 intances 3 works fine the one does not whant to connect

Sounds like a communication problem, and seems to have nothing to do with the database itself. Maybe try posting to a forum that more relates to that, such as a networking forum.

Try under "System Administration and Operating Systems".

You have a problem on your client - chances are that your fourth database isn't catalogued properly or it's SVCENAME parameter is not set.

You'll need to talk with your DB2 DBA to clean that up for you.
