SQL query

Hi all,

I have to write a sql query which does the following:

I get 2 dates as input parameters to my stored procedure -
EFF_DATE (15th March, 2003) and
EXPIRY_DATE (14th March, 2004)

There is a master table which has all dates in the following manner:

START_DT END_DT
row 1 26 Jan,2003 28 Feb,2003
row 2 28 Feb,2003 2 April,2003
row 3 2 April,2003 3 May,2003
-
-
-
-
row 13 2 March,2004 3 April,2004

Based on the input dates, i have to retrieve data from 'row 2' upto 'row
13'

Can somebody please help me out with this query?

hi, i managed to figure it out... here it is..

SELECT STRT_DT, END_DT
FROM
TAB1
WHERE
(STRT_DT bETWEEN DATE('03/15/2003') and DATE('03/15/2004'))
OR
(end_DT bETWEEN DATE('03/15/2003') and DATE('03/15/2004') );
