Unable to start DB2 DAS

Hi,
I have a problem starting the DB2 DAS.I was trying to fix it for more than a month now, but cudn't do so. Let me explain my scenario propely:
DB2 v 8.1 fix pack 5 on AIX 5.3 was installed initially. (DAS:dasusr4(uid)/dasadm1(group))
An instance db2inst4 was cretaed during installation.(db2inst4,db2grp1)

But since a new instance was needed for me install Websphere MQ Workflow, I created another dasusr5(new DAS,not sure whether its correct) & db2inst5(new instance) and associated it with workflow.After installing fix pack, the binding was alos successfull then. My workflow looked as if it was working fine, but after a few days,I noticed it isn't. So after a few ppl's response,I tried to bind the DB2 packages, but this is not giving any response, but just takes forever.

$ id
uid=104(dasusr4) gid=102(dasadm1) groups=1(staff)
$ db2admin start
SQL4401C The DB2 Administration Server encountered an error during startup.

I can provide more info, but kindly help me solve this issue.
