plz help me out

i have sript which will create the database
when i ran it through db2cmd it gives me an error like below:

DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was
not a valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it
returned:
04/07/2006 18:39:51 SQL1024N A database connection does not exist.
SQLSTATE=08003

what is the problem plz help me out.

You don't have a connect to any database. So you should issue a CONNECT TO
<dbname> first.

mine is database creation script, when i tried to connect to other
database in a instance through db2cmd its connecting , but still it
giving the same error when i ran my script

Then you have a syntax error in your script because your command is not
interpreted as a DB2 command. So the CLP tries to give it to the DBMS for
parsing and execution, but you don't have a connection. Hence, it fails.

If you are trying to create a new database the first two rows of the script
must are:

CREATE DATABASE xxxxxxx
CONNECT TO DATABASE xxxxxxx USER yyyyyyy USING zzzzzzz

Try it out.
