I am running explain plans on different SQLs and need some help reading
the output. Is there a document that will help me understand this? Any
help will be appreciated.

Well. I'd love to.
Here is the title:
D13: Analyzing Query Access Plans In DB2/LUW Using Explain
by John Hornibrook, IDUG NA 2004
Unfortunately I can't find the beast in the IDUG Technical library.
And this link served up by google: http://www.idug.org/idug/member/jour...1/articl05.cfm
Doesn't work for me....
Anyone having better luck?

Instead of clicking the real link after the Google search, you can read
the 'cache' version without a problem.
thanks Michel!
this link works - and a useful article

Michel,
I do not see the article as soon as I click on the link you provide: http://tinyurl.com/mgdpw
This is what I got:
Sua pesquisa -
cache:bqE9DrG1gdIJ: http://www.idug.org/idug/member/jour...1/articl05.cfm
DB2 John Hornibrook - não encontrou nenhum documento correspondente.
Would you check if the link is still ok?
Thanks!

It looks like Google removed it from their cache also. It now depends on
Serge sending the pdf, or resending it by others who already got a copy
if this is allowed by Serge?

I'm in no position to allow or disallow anything.
Presumably copyright rests with IDUG.
Now, I can't imagine IDUG taking issue with passing a popular talk
around as long as no-one places it on a their webpage for download.
Maybe those with an interest should email IDUG to inquire why this page
doesn't come up?
In the meantime those who want the talk can send me email and I'll pass
it along.
Cheers
