# of Agents -> db2 list applications

When I issue an db2 list applications on my DB2 UDB V8.2 database on
AIX 5.3 I get the following o/p
/home/card30/admin] > db2 list applications

What does that # of Agents column signify ?

What does that # of Agents column signify ?


Generally, if a single application is using more than 1 agent, some form of
parallelism is in effect. DB2 can do query parallelism in some situations,
and also parallel operations for utilities such as backup, etc.
