Checksum for Duplicacy check

Hi All

I am new to DB2, I want to add one column to table which will be
storing checksum.
As in sql server checksum, checksum_Binary are build in function when
parameters string are passed which returns me integer. So are there any
function in DB2 or please tell me procedure to achieve this
Thanks and regards
Suresh

I posted such a function on Oct 17 2005 in this forum.
