WPAI on iSeries DB - Problem

Do anybody have some experience in configuring WPAI (Websphere Portal
Application Integrator) to access an iSeries DB.

I followed instructions here detailed in order to configure the JDNI
connector on WAS to access a remote iSeries DB:
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerwork...dm-0404bhogal/
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerwork...v410_wsdd.html

But when trying to use portlet builder it doesn't work.

Any hints
Thxs!
