Most user interface tools have limited capability to load BLOB/CLOB data
bacause they need an internal buffer to store the data. It wouldn't be
very productive to use a multi gigabyte buffer as a default and then
have users run into available storage issues on smaller systems.

I'd recommend looking at how LOAD works. You can use comma delimited
records for the non-BLOB/CLOB data and references to files containing
the BLOB/CLOB data. There is also a mechanism to allow placing multiple
BLOBs/CLOBs in a single file and having LOAD use a specified portion of
the file for each one to be inserted.

This is all documented in the Command Reference manual.
