ahaha ... I closed the window. I don't know how to tell if the task
died or not though.

If you are on a newer version there is a load command that lets you
inquire the LOAD STATUS. Check the command reference (I don't know it's
name off hand).

Thanx for answering my questions. Is there a good UDB ULW link at IBM
that you would recommend?
I would prefer long-winded explanations rather than the CLP help. I
have the SQL Cookbook already.
