DB2 UDB Version 8 Workgroup Edition 64 bits, sources ????

Hi,
we have an AIX 5.3 OS, and we purchased DB2 UDB version 8 Workgroup
Edition.

We want to install 64 bits version, but the source CD's that we have
say:

WORKGROUP SERVER EDITION
Version 8.1
for AIX 5L
for 32 bits system.

Also we have the Enterprise Server Edition CD sources.
This CD's has DB2 UDB ESE Version 8.1 for AIX 5L
for 32 & 64 bits systems.

Why not exists DB2 UDB WSE Version 8.1 for 64 bits systems source
CD's?????

How can we install DB2 UDB WSE and then create 64 bits instances ????
Thanks in advance.

64-bit workgroup was not supported until v8.2. All you really need to do,
then, is install the workgroup CD, and apply fixpak 7 or later to get to
8.2, and 64-bit will be supported.
