Db2 Stored Procedures and File handling

vj
Could I get some information , on how to handle flat files throught DB2
Stored Procedures.

Functionalities such as ( Reading / Writing to a file ). Basically I
want to achieve a Logging Mechanism which would enable me to write a
log of a procedure output to a file.

Please let me know ur suggestions..

Thanks.
