Install db2 database in the Linux

Hello
When i was trying to install db2 database in the Linux, then the
following error had occured. Can anyone help me?

Before the install (in the same command line session) run the following
commands:

LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL

After the DB2 install, go to the IBM website and download and install JDK
1.4.2. If you have an Intel machine, you probably want the 32-bit xSeries
(Intel compatible) version:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerwork.../download.html
You will need to register to get the download, but registration is free.

and then after installing the new JDK run the following commands:

db2 update dbm cfg using jdk_path /opt/IBMJava2-142
db2 update admin cfg using jdk_path /opt/IBMJava2-142

Thanks for ur mail, Now i have installed db2 database but i could not
run db2ce command editor. I downloaded java from IBM. How can i run
db2ce?

have install the jdk downloaded from IBM? or else the jdk you got from
db2 should be also OK.

just su - yourinstuser -c "db2ce"
