DB2 BIND from one database to another

P: n/a
Hi,

We are pre binding to a test database, and we want to bind to another
database. We are using DB2 version 8.
We are using a user called MCJ100D to prebind.
We are using MIJ100D to bind; i.e. DB2 BIND testfile.bnd COLLECTION
MIJ100D FUNCPATH MIJ100D QUALIFIER MIJ100D

The bind completes with no errors; however, at execution, we have an
error because the qualifier remains as MCJ100D. (Error: sqlcode -805).

We need some assistance in solving our problem.

Maybe you can explain under which conditions you get the SQL0805? The exact
error message along with the failing SQL statement would be helpful.

And how exactly do the SQL statements in the package/bindfile look like?
Running "db2bfd -bs <bind file>" will tell you that. Maybe you have some
hard-coded schema names.
