Greetings, the last three days I have started to get entries like:
2005-10-05-16.51.44.615996+120 I20328552G471 LEVEL: Warning
PID : 11244 TID : 3006253568 PROC : db2agent (NYA)
INSTANCE: vhsinst NODE : 000 DB : NYA
APPHDL : 0-306 APPID: D5996B4A.C8BC.08D7A5144053
FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, sort/list services, sqlsReservePrivateSpace,
probe:10
MESSAGE : Invalid private sort memory request
DATA #1 : Hexdump, 4 bytes
0xBFFF03BC : 0000 0080 ....
in my db2diag.log. At the same time the number of lock escalation, and
deadlocks have increased dramatically. Anyone seen these entries like
this before and have an idea on how to fix them? I found the following
article:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...=utf-8&lang=en
but I am running fixpak 9:
db2level
DB21085I Instance "XXXXXX" uses "32" bits and DB2 code release
"SQL08022"
with level identifier "03030106".
Informational tokens are "DB2 v8.1.0.89", "OD_14086", "MI00105_14086",
and
FixPak "9".
Product is installed at "/opt/IBM/db2/V8.1".
and os is:
Linux XXXXXX 2.4.21-27.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Dec 1 21:59:02 EST 2004 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
A virtual beer to anyone that can shed some light on this.
Kind regards
