Use fedb to access remote orcale database through a db2 fedb

Hi,

I defined mapping for a remote oracle table in a db2 federated db ( db2
8.2 on redhat linux );

the purpose is to access that data from IBM mainframe IMS transactions
..

the connection works and returns data from IBM mainframe SPUFI, Batch
COBOL, .. but fails from IMS even if the call method used is the same

1) define the federated db to a mainframe db2
2) connect to the federated database
3) perform a select clause

the return message is -30081 tcp/ip socket error function=READ
code=1124

any clue ?
