DB2 UDB 8.2 for Linux and the ODBC-driver ?

Hello All,

Whether supports DB2 UDB 8.2 FP7 for Linux the ODBC-driver ?
If yes, whether that enters this driver into delivery DB2 UDB 8.2 FP7
for Linux ?
If it is possible, bring please an example of customization of the
ODBC-driver for DB2 under Linux.

Hi Tolik:

DB2 has supported access through ODBC for many years. The reason you
might not be able to find information about accessing DB2 through ODBC
is because all of our documentation is about the CLI interface -- but
CLI and ODBC are almost identical APIs, and you can use our CLI driver
as an ODBC driver.

For more information, you can read
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce...d/t0006349.htm
in the DB2 Information Center.
