Scheduler stops for no reason

Has anyone else experienced this? The scheduled tasks in the DB2 Task
Center stop running after working for a few days. When I try to run
tasks manually using "Run Next Schedule", I get an error, "The
scheduler is not active. Reason code '1'" (The scheduler is not
enabled).

sched_enable is set to "on", and everything in the services window
(this is a Win32 box) looks alright.

Any ideas? It started happening after I set maintenance to "auto", so
I've shut that off.

- Thanks.

I am having the same problem as you on DB2 V8.1.5 for Windows.
Frequently restart db2admin service will help.
