Attach Database

Hallo allerseits

Ich habe diese Testversion Trial: DB2 Universal Database (DB2 UDB
Enterprise Server Edition
Version 8.2 auf einem Windows Server 2003 installiert, habe die Sample-DB
erstellt und kann darauf mit ODBC
zugreifen.

Nun möchte ich eine bestehende Datenbank, deren Version ich nicht genau
kenne, attachen. Wie mache ich das am besten?

Ich habe es bereits via Steuerzentrale -> Alle Datenbanken -> Datenbank
hinzufügen -> Suchen probiert, dort wird allerdings immer nur meine
Sample-DB gefunden.

Für Hinweise wäre ich sehr dankbar.

catalog tcpip node <nodename> remote <hostname> server <port>
where standard port is 50000. You can use a name, which must be in
services (don't know where in Windows, in UNIX it is /etc/services).

Then
catalog database <db name> at node <nodename>
connect to <db name> user <user> using <password>

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\services
or
c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\services
