bufferpool heap taking 4 GB when it is only specified as 750 MB total

hi all,

i monitor my database with dbartisan and it shows 4 GB bufferpool heap
size
the size of all bufferpool is only 750MB. i do not understand how
dbartisan is showing 4 GB. is total size of bufferpool include
something else also other than bufferpools. is there any good document,
resource which talks about all memory areas and can explain me in
detail.

warm regards,
jagdip singh
