hmz... what's going on???

I just installed db2 8.2.2 on a Pentium 4 machine with 1GB mem.
I used db2licm, and db2icrt -u db2fenc db2inst as root.
then I did a mkdir /data/opldb and chowned it to db2inst1:db2 with privs
775. both db2inst and db2fenc are in the primary group db2.

next I tried a db2 create db opldb automatic storage no on /data/opldb
uatoconfigure using tpm 150 mem_percent 80 apply db and dbm

and then the whole lot just hangs... The linux system (yes, it's linux
with the proper sysctl values) is still available, but everything
concerning db2 hangs... after a killall -9 db2 db2bp db2sysc I can
perform a db2start again, but after that, same problem.

What could be causing this??

If I perform de create db without the on /data/opldb part, it creates,
and I can select. But when I try to create a bufferpool, the whole lot
hangs again...

Plz help.
