MDC Rollout

Hi folks,

I have a MDC organized by (Date, ... other Dims) and a PK on this MDC like
(F1, F2, F3, DATE).
Select * from MDC where Date = ? picks up the BID index.

Why does DELETE from MDC where Date = ? strangely picks up the PK RID index
?

Couldn't the optimizer favor BID index for such trivial predicates,
especially when DB2_MDC_ROLLOUT=YES ?

Kind regards,

JM
