Can I store binaries outside /sqllib/function?

P: n/a
db2 8.2 (8.1 FP9a) on AIX 5.2.

Please can someone tell me what the implications (if any) are of
storing our application binaries outside the
/home/<instance/sqllib/function directory (e.g. in /appl/code)?

Thanks
Bruce

None from a functional point of view. From an administration point of view,
it may become difficult to keep track of where they are, espeically if
people break from convention and start putting them wherever they want
(/usr/local/bin, /home/joeuser, /tmp, or whatever.)
