Oracle Transparent Gateway

gtm
Hello,

I am trying to set an Oracle Transparent Gateway to a DB2 Universal
Database. The oracle version is 10g, the DB2 version is 8.1.4. Both
databases are running on the same Windows XP Pro machine.

In going through the Oracle documentation there is a section on
Configuring the DRDA server. This section refers to the following
command:

GRANT BIND ON PACKAGE drda1.g2drsql TO USER userid

When I run this inside the DB2 Command Center, I get a message the
drda1.g2drsql is not an unidentified name. I am guessing that I do not
have something set up correctly on the DB2 side. I am not a DBA (except
by default) so I may have missed something obvious. I have spent the
last couple of days searching the web but have not learned much that
will help me. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?

Thanks

George
