Warehouse Manager Agent problem

Hi folks, I tried to install the WM today and got into a nasty muddle
with version errors. Because I was using FP9 on the UDB installation,
it failed as part of the agent installation with the file vwd.exe. I
managed to get around that by re-applying the fixpak after I had
installed WM off the CD.

The problem now however is the agent will not start and produces an
error:

"Procedure Entry Point could not be located in the dynamic link library
mtldvw.dll" .. and follows this with a great string about a mile long.

The WM server seems to be running fine, the info catalog does not as it
seems to have also failed due to what it says 'needing to register the
application' which appears to be referencing the schema I created the
tools catalog with.

Can anyone help with this one please, I'd be most grateful.

Tim

Call IBM. Or uninstall / reinstall (and follow the instructions
for how to install multiple products).

I followed the instructions to the letter, and there is nothing wrong
with the manner in which it was installed. The issue remains an error
starting the agent service:

Application popup: vwd.exe - Entry Point Not Found :
The procedure entry point ??6@YAAAVostream@@AAV0@ABVRWWString@@@Z
could not be located in the dynamic link library mtldVW.dll.

Further, the Information catalog keeps failing to connect saying that
the application ICM [seems to be the tools catalog schema] has not been
registered, and I am unable to define a target on the Warehouse
database because of the agent failure.

Sounds like you are going to need to open up a PMR with IBM on this one ...
