I am a new user help needed

This is the Query which i am using
describe table db2prod.c9t_assignment

but i get an error
describe table db2prod.c9t_assignment

DB21033E The command is not valid for databases that reside on DRDA
hosts.

for the query
SELECT *
FROM db2prod.USER_TABLES

DBA2191E SQL execution error.

com.ibm.db.DataException: A
database manager error occurred. : [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2]
SQL0204N "DB2PROD.USER_TABLES" is an undefined name.
SQLSTATE=42704

Can anyone help me in this

What OS is your DB2 server located on?

If you work for Allstate, you should contact one of your DBA's for help.

Mainframe hosts do not support all the functionality of DB2 for Linux
,Unix ,Windows and OS/2.
