I think to have a problema with DB2_SQLROUTINE_COMPILE_COMMAND

hi to all ng

in the db2 versione 7.2 when I compile I set my environment with db2set
DB2_SQLROUTINE_COMPILE_COMMAND but I don't know which is the name of the
same variabile in db2 version 8

someone can help me ?

Did you try it in version 8 (even though it is not documented)?

YES: I lauch "db2set
DB2_SQLROUTINE_COMPILE_COMMAND=xlc -H512 -T512 -I$HOME/sqllib/include
SQLROUTINE_FILENAME.c -bE:SQLROUTINE_FILENAME.exp -e SQ
LROUTINE_ENTRY -o SQLROUTINE_FILENAME -L$HOME/sqllib/lib -lc -ldb2"

but I have an error
reponse:
DBI1302E Invalid parameter detected.

Explanation:

An invalid parameter was used.

User Response:

Use the -? option for the usage help message.

have other suggest for me ?

Did you try it in version 8 (even though it is not documented)?

Which fixpack are you on. In V8.2 (V8.1 FP7)
this whole concept is obsolete. DB2 does not use a compiler anymore for
SQL Procedures.
