FP9 / can't find Apar GG04517

P: n/a
Dear all,

I've tried to get some information on apar GG04517 (FP9) related to sending
mails, but the search on the DB2 support site did not send back the link.

Besides, if you declare an email adress using your Internet Provider in the
Task Center/Contact, and press the Test button, DB2 tells you that it
succeeded, but you don't receive any mail in your mail box. What am I doing
wrong ? I would have expected that apar GG04517 was related to this problem.

Thanks for your help,

Jean-Marc

Can someone post some info about this apar that cannot be found on the IBM

Thanks,

ERROR DESCRIPTION:

Mail is being blocked by email server because it detects a
header which is not RFC complied. If send email via a local
SMTP server, it's ok because no checking is done.

(Windows Platform)

Bye,

Dario
