I'm trying to figure out how, from the Visual C++ GUI, to run a
precompiler on my .SQC files, and create the corresponding .C files.
I know about the DB2 command window, and how to do a DB2 PREP from
there. That's not the information I'm looking for. I have a
workspace set up in Developer Studio where some of the projects have
..SQC files, and others don't. I want to be able to build the whole
workspace from the GUI. I don't want to have to make half of my
programs from the command line, and the other half
from the GUI. Does anyone know how to do this?
In a related question, is there a utility program to do a PREP other
than using DB/2's "DB2 PREP" from the DB/2 command window? If there
is a single program that can do the connect and PREP (so I don't have
to run it from DB2CMD.EXE), that should work just fine, but I have
been unable to find one.
Thanks for any help you can provide. 1 2366

Have you tried asking this question on a Visual C++ newsgroup? I'm not sure
how many Visual C++ users there are on this newsgroup but I don't imagine
there are nearly as many as on a Visual C++ newsgroup. Of course, you may
not find very many DB2 users on a Visual C++ newsgroup....
