DB2 v8.2 Installation Problem

I am trying to install DB2 v8.2 Universal Database Express Edition on
my standalone computer using Windows XP Home Version. Everytime I try
to run the setup I receive an error message that my operating system is
not compatible for this version.

But in the readme file it says that this version supports Windows XP.
So I would appreciate any help with this problem.

I believe you need XP Pro. Probably a slight error in the doc.

You're right, I've installed the DB2 V8.2 Personal Edition On XP Home
without a problem but it's the only one that will run on XP Home.

Check http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...id=swg21176759
for a full list of editions and supported Windows versions.
