Help needed for 'sqloopenp' errors in db2diag.log

NG
Hi,

We are using DB2V7.2 with fixpack 13 with AIX 5.2.
We created a new Database under the file system '/qcgprodb1/data'.
From that point we are getting the following error every 17 sec.
2005-03-21-09.18.10.219725 Instance:gfxprod1 Node:000
PID:74596(db2bp) Appid:
oper_system_services sqloopenp Probe:20

errno: 0000 000d ....

String Title:Path/Filename PID:74596 Node:000
/qcgprodb1/data/gfxprod1/NODE0000/sqldbdir/sqldbdir
2005-03-21-09.18.27.307384 Instance:gfxprod1 Node:000
PID:73628(db2bp) Appid:
oper_system_services sqloopenp Probe:20

errno: 0000 000d ....
String Title:Path/Filename PID:73628 Node:000
/qcgprodb1/data/gfxprod1/NODE0000/sqldbdir/sqldbdir

2005-03-21-09.18.44.551691 Instance:gfxprod1 Node:000
PID:71444(db2bp) Appid:
oper_system_services sqloopenp Probe:20

errno: 0000 000d

String Title:Path/Filename PID:71444 Node:000
/qcgprodb1/data/gfxprod1/NODE0000/sqldbdir/sqldbdir
Please advise.

Thanks,
GN

errno stands for EACCESS, meaning that the DB2 background process "db2bp"
doesn't have the necessary privileges to access the file or directory
listed there. You might want to check the privileges set for the
file/directory.
