no suitable driver db2 tomcat 4.0.6 linux redhat

P: n/a
Hi,

I try to connect to db2 with tomcat4.0.6 on linux redhat9.0. with
driver db2java.jar
I have always the same error "no suitable driver".

i try different actions that have read on the forum :

copy db2java.zip in $TOMCAT_HOME/common/lib
rename it in db2java.jar

copy db2profile in /etc/db2profile.d, rename it in db2profile.sh

I make a java client that connect to DB2 with no problem but when i
put the same code in JSP page, i have always the same error "no
suitable driver".

I have no more solutions.

Thanks to help me!

Make sure the db2java.jar is pointed into your classpath , you might also
try putting the db2java.* files in the directory where your application
directory is from the Tomcat directory. If you are using version Version 8.2
of DB2, I think it is the db2jcc driver that you need to use.

Hope this helps,
