loading a timestamp

JS
I have a del file with timestamp format as: Jan 1 1995 12:00AM
I am trying to load this as:
modified by timestampformat "MMM/D/YYYY HH:MM TT"
but DB2 will not accept it. I have tried various combinations of the
modifier but no luck so far. Does anybody know the correct syntax to
load this value?
Many thanks if you do

One idea is to load the timestamp as chars. Then reformat and put it
into timestamp column using TO_DATE UDF in "Sample UDFs for Migration"

There are a bunch of useful date functions delivered as part of MTK
(which is free).
