How to log the source IP address of DB2 connection?

Is there any way to log the IP address of all the connections (both
successful/unsuccessful) made to the DB2 server.

I've tried db2audit but it doesn't give the source IP address.

I am using DB2 v7.1 on AIX 4.3.3.

Thanks.

An event monitor for connections will have this information.

Actually the ip address will be embedded in the application id
string...you just need to decode it. See the system monitor guide for
more information.

I believe db2audit gives the info.
For each message there is an idenfier:

timestamp=2005-01-05-13.36.32.325000;category=CONTEXT;audit event=ATTACH;
event correlator=1;
userid=STJACQUE;authid=STJACQUE;
application id=*LOCAL.DB2.050105183632;application name=db2audit.exe;

The application id here shows LOCLA, for an TCPIP connection it would
show something like: 1825F672.
Take each digit and make a pair: 18 25 F6 72
Transform each pair from hex to decimal: x18 -> d24, x25 -> d37 ...
You get: 24.37.246.114 and that's the ip address of the connection.

You don't need audit for that, a db2 list applications command will also
give you the application id as above.
