where to buy udb 8.2 express

We're looking to buy db2 udb 8.2 express ("stinger") but the only place
I have been able to find it for sale is directly through IBM. Is it
too new for other vendors to have it? I wouldn't think so. I can find
other versions of udb for sale, but we're specifically looking for 8.2.
Any ideas???
Thanks

1) From IBM's website

2) Through IBM resellers (one I know of is Access Technologies)

3) Via various online sites

Remember that you can buy V8,1 and apply Fixpack 7a to bring you to V8.2
level. So some of the websites may not say V8.2 specifically, but buying
a V8.1 licence is the same.

But I'd suggest you are careful of buying through some of the online sites.
There are two licencing models available -

a) Low initial fee + per user licence
b) Per processor licence for unlimited users

Most sites I've seen, apart from IBM directly, only offer the first option.
It may look a lot cheaper but it isn't in the long run.

I'd suggest you find a reseller and work with them. Apart from anything
else they may be able to negotiate a discount for you !!!

For what it's worth, I am starting to receive V8.2 install media for
DB2 UDB for Linux, UNIX, and Windows. I simply requested a media update
for my DB2 Universal Developer Edition and they arrived in the mail.
However, I think that the V8.2 install media may only install DB2 as
of FP7, so you may still need to apply FP7a just as if you had
installed from V8.1 media.
