Difference between DB2 for LUW and DB2 for z/Series

Hi ,
Can some one help me find out the differences between DB2 for LUW and
DB2 for z/Series .
Also, can someone tel me what considerations do I need to make if I
wish to write some SQL UDFs which will be used on all of these
platforms(LUW and z/Series OS)

Thanks in advance

ISBN 0-13-147700-5, "DB2 SQL PL", Prentice Hall
Chapter 9 covers SQL UDf. The book covers DB2 zOS as well.

Last I checked (V7) DB2 for zOS supported only the RETURN statement in
SQL UDF. That essentially means that you can use a SQL UDF as a
parameterized view.

Also take a look at the cross platform SQL Reference manual:
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerwork...206sqlref.html

Cheers
Serge
