NLS Support in DB2 as a configurable parameter

Hi,

Does DB2 provide NLS ( National Language Support) as a configurable
parameter or a system register to get locale specific character/number
representation. For example in Oracle, one may use nls_language to
specify the language in which a particular scalar function may display
the output, e.g. TO_NUMBER, TO_CHAR etc.
Any information will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

No, it's automatic. Oracle only needs it as it doesn't honour the
environment.
