hacmp

On two Aix 5.2 servers I want to implement HACMP. In the IBM's
"Advanced DBA Certification Guide and Reference Book", in page 248,
there are 8 steps to implement HACMP. The 8th step says,
"Failover $HOME to the dbserv2". What does this mean? Does it mean
running the HACMP scripts in the /usr/bin directory? Assuming I run
the db2_inst_ha.local script in /usr/opt/db2_08_01/samples/hacmp/es.
If I do need to run the scripts is there a particular order? Please
help.
Thanks,
Yasaswi

I guess I was too specific, but is there any resource about HACMP for
Aix 5.2 environment. I know there is a the HACMP DB2 guide but did
somebody do it and have a step by step process?
Thanks,
Yasaswi

You might want to purchase "High Availability Guide for DB2" by Eaton
and Cialini at https://ites.krcinfo.com/ .
