Apple clients for DB2?

Has anyone ported, or developed their own set of clients for apple
machines? A researcher here has an OS X machine and was wondering if there
are any gui tools for it? I said I doubted it, and then I thought ....
Hmmm.... OS X is Unix-ey, would the tools work since they are JAVA?

Any help is appreciated.

You can try installing the linux version of db2 on OS X using fink Commander.

I never tried db2. But it might work...
http://finkcommander.sourceforge.net/

I even found this article about IBM thinking of porting to OS X.

GOOD LUCK

Do you remember where the article was about the port from IBM? It would
be great to read!
