Is Stinger downloadable yet?

I'd like to play with UDB 8.2 for Linux and/or Windows - which was
released according to the announcement, but I don't have passport
advantage. Does anyone know if there is any other way I can get a
trial soon?

Stinger has been available as V8.1 Fixpack 7 for about 4 weeks now.
If you apply fixpack 7, you're there!

After joining the beta (you have to join to get the software), you'll
get an email with a link to the download and a key.

Cheers

As others have pointed out, stinger is available as FP7.
But be aware that the PE install image is incomplete.

Missing are

sqllib/bnd/sgSql.bnd
sqllib/function/db2sg.dll

regarding other omissions see
