DB8.1 - FP7 trouble ...

P: n/a
Jep

I've just installed FixPack 7 on top of 8.1(5).

When I start db2cc I get 'This application failed to start because
icuiodb226.dll was not found'. The control Center appears, and
something is working.

As surgested by the message I have tried a reinstall, but it makes no
difference. Anyone seen this and solved it ??

When I try to run the Task Center, It will not show me anything. I get
this message:
ICM0035N An SQL error occurred while loading an access control
list.
[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL1476N The current transaction was
rolled back because of error "-433". SQLSTATE=40506

Explanation:
An SQL error occurred while the Information Catalog Manager API
was loading information in an access control list from the IBM
DB2 Universal Database tools catalog.

User Response:
Check the Message Reference for more information on this SQL
error.

I fear I'll find more. I've tired the support homepage, but get no
hits.
Any help or advice ??

Sheesh...DB2CC barely works ever. I usually just get a big blank
nothing screen filled with brown. I simply don't understand why these
tools are so inadequate.

Frustrated in Colorado.

Dear Jep,

Probably this problem has already been fixed (see the date)... here is a
result that worked for me with latest version at this time - 8.2.3.

For UDB 8.2.3
Do a complete installation (select all options).
Search for icuiodb226.dll in the db2wi.log file, you should see it there.
