You haven't told us what platform you are using; DB2 V7 exists on both
OS/390 and Windows/Linux/Unix. I believe that DB2 on the AS/400 is still at
Version 5, not Version 7. I'm not sure what the current version of DB2 on
VM/VSE is.

The URL for all of the DB2 manuals is:
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/db2/library/

The URL for the manuals for DB2 V7 on z/OS and OS/390 is:
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data...manualsv7.html
This page contains a search box so I tried searching on READLIMIT; there
were no hits.

The URL for the manuals for DB2 V7 on Windows/Linux/Unix and OS/2 is:
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data...manualsv7.html
There is no search engine for looking through all of these manuals in a
single search; you'll need to open and search each of the manuals
individually. You should probably try the Adminstration Guide manuals first
but the information may be in one of the many other manuals. (I tried
searching within the V7.1 Admin Guide, Volume 3 (Performance) but didn't
find any hits).

I searched my DB2 V7.2 (Windows/Linux/Unix) manuals using the search engine
provided with installed copies of DB2 but couldn't find any hits on
READLIMIT.

In short, I'm not sure where READLIMIT is documented - or even *if* it is
documented - but you now know where the manuals are so you can start
looking.

I also tried Googling on it in the comp.databases.ibm-db2 newsgroup but
didn't find any hits.
